Winter Time
Porto Rafti during the winter slows down; this turns out be welcomed for some peace and quiet, and for enjoying nature without the summer crowds.
The temperatures usually do not get below 10C (50F) but can on occassion.
To highlight some humor, a once in a generation snow storm took place mid-February 2024.
Sort of wild to see palm trees surrounded by snow.
Of course the snow was gone very quickly.
It is not unusual to see a few brave folks swimming during the winter.
